Come celebrate the 4th of July with Planters Bunch! The parade will be led by our own Station 8 Fire Engine, and everyone is welcome to participate! Decorate your golf cart, your bike, yourselves, your wagons (and the kids in them!), or anything else you can maneuver around the parade route!
If you want to be in the parade, line up at the Marina parking lot starting at 9AM. The parade route is on the left.
If you just want to watch, pull up a chair, a golf cart, or just stand along the parade route, watch and cheer. And wear your best patriotic outfit!
Trophies will be given out for Best Overall, Most Patriotic, Most Original, Best Bike and Best Wagon. So make your best effort and decorate your ride! You might win a trophy!
The parade will end at Milton Pines park, and parade participants will have hot dogs courtesy of West End Marina, and Rita’s, courtesy of Rita’s at 61st and Seawall, and Mark and Esther McKenna. Sorry, the food at the end is only for those that are in the parade, we don’t have enough for everyone.
